Yoga Classes

YOGA CLASSES

Our Yoga Centre is located at Mogappair west, Chennai. We offer regular yoga classes from Monday to Saturday and the timings of the class schedules are given below. All the classes are taught under the watchful guidance of our experienced yoga master RAMANI and his team of well experienced and qualified yoga masters. Before joining our regular yoga classes all students are recommended to undergo a general health assessment conducted by our yoga therapist.

Daily Yoga Classes 

Regular Group Yoga classes are conducted daily, in the morning and at evening. These classes are held under the direct supervision of master RAMANI and his team of yoga experts.

Students are given individual attention and tailor-made yoga sequences, which are taught based on their respective goals and needs.

With regular practice you can enjoy Increased flexibility and strength can help prevent the causes of some types of aches and pains.

This class is suitable for all levels of yoga practitioners, Asanas, Pranayamas Mudras, Bandhas, Kriyas and relaxation techniques are taught in this class. Separate classes are held for ladies and gentlemen.

Beginners Yoga Classes 

This class is suitable for house wives and elderly who prefer to take non-peak hour classes. mas RAMANI Yoga basic series is taught in this class with options and modification for the poses according to the individual’s flexibility and limitation. Instructors will give adjustments and assistance to all the students in the class when needed.

Yoga Classes for Children 

Weekend Group Yoga Classes for Students / Kids (up to 13yrs old)

The earlier one starts yoga the better it is to improve general health and flexibility. Kids can start practicing yoga from the age of 4.

Yoga promotes physical strength because kids learn to use all of their muscles in new ways. Simple postures and concentration techniques are taught in this class that helps develop strength, agility and coordination. It also helps children to focus and concentrate in school and get better grades.

If kids start practicing yoga from young age they can improve their immunity, and prevent seasonal illnesses such as common cold, flu ,allergic symptoms and hereditary diseases such as obesity, blood pressure, diabetes etc.

It has been found to be particularly so for kids with special needs. Studies have shown that yoga benefits children with autism and ADHD

It also provides tools for practicing compassion, mindfulness, generosity, focus, strength, and flexibility.

Yoga is something children can practice anywhere without the need of any tools or equipment’s, so it is the best family activity if the parents also learn yoga.

 

Yoga Classes for Home-makers  

RAMANI YOGA offers a group yoga programme focusing on overall fitness and wellbeing, specifically for home-makers. Classes are held from 8:30 to 10:30 am, Monday through Saturday, with the Sunday off. New batches commence on the first Monday of every month. The focus of these group practices is to give students the opportunity to practice carefully structured asana and pranayama sequences under the guidance of a teacher, to encourage the inclusion of yoga as a daily practice routine.

Those who wish to enroll for these classes, are required to first undergo a preliminary fitness assessment done by one of therapy consultants to assess the students, health status, flexibility, strength and stamina. Registrations are on a first-come-first-served basis at the start of every month. Those who have any specific health issues are requested to take one-on-one lessons.

Prenatal Yoga  

A practice uniquely designed for pregnancy, Prenatal Yoga can help support moms-to-be emotionally and physically. With an emphasis on breathing, stamina, pelvic floor work, restorative poses, and core strength, Prenatal Yoga can help you become more resilient during and after pregnancy.

Prenatal yoga can prepare your mind, body, and spirit for motherhood.
